Mr. Dookie possesses 25 years of financial-sector experience in the Caribbean with deep expertise in Trinidad & Tobago. Throughout his career he has held numerous senior positions in banking and asset management. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Waterloo Capital Advisors Limited, a leading investment management and broker-dealer firm based in Trinidad and registered with the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission.
Prior to founding Waterloo, he served as Head of Structuring and Advisory at First Citizens Bank. Mr. Dookie also served as a Portfolio Manager at Guardian Asset Management where he was responsible for the establishment and management of 13 mutual funds with diversified investment strategies
Earlier in his career, he was a founding member of Caribbean Money Market Brokers, where he was responsible for fixed income, structured products and derivative trading and served within the Treasury Management Group at RBC in Trinidad. He received a B.S.c. in Accounting & Finance from London School of Economics and Political Science, a M.S.c. in Finance from University of London, and a LL.M in International Commercial Law, from University of Salford – Manchester, UK.
