Mr. Tonelli has more than three decades of experience advising clients in emerging markets and the international capital markets. He has developed and executed innovative financing solutions for complex transactions and has brought numerous first-time issuers to the international capital markets.
Prior to co-founding BancAtlantic, Mr. Tonelli spent more than a decade at Oppenheimer & Co., where he served as Global Head of Debt Capital Markets and Syndication. Previously, he held senior positions at Bear Stearns and J.P. Morgan in international structured finance. He began his career as a corporate attorney at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where his practice included Latin American transactions.
