Mr. Fleischmann is a recently retired Shearman & Sterling capital markets lawyer, where he spent the entirety of his almost forty year legal career, over thirty as a partner. Since leaving Shearman he has acted as a Strategic Advisor to Inversiones Atlantida (“Invatlan”), one of the principal shareholders of BancAtlantic Capital. In this capacity he has assisted Invatlan in numerous transactions including its own securities issuances and refinancing as well as loans made to various sponsored companies and actual and pending acquisitions of a number of financial and non financial businesses. He regularly engages with NY-based investment and commercial banking personnel for the benefit of Invatlan and BancAtlantic Capital.
